Orion was our beautiful Golden Retriever, our loyal shadow, our gentle boy, and the heart of our home.

He gave us twelve years of love, comfort, laughter, muddy walks, stolen snacks and memories we will carry forever.

Their story

More than a pet. Family.

Orion came into our lives in the winter of 2014, a soft golden bundle of paws, ears and mischief. From the moment he arrived, the house felt warmer. He had a way of making every ordinary day feel special, whether he was waiting by the door, sleeping in a patch of sunlight, or following us from room to room just to be near.

He was gentle, loyal and full of character. He loved his walks, especially through the fields where he could sniff everything, chase leaves and look back every few steps to make sure we were still there. He loved people, loved attention, and somehow always knew when someone needed comfort.

Orion was more than a pet. He was family, routine, comfort, laughter and love.

Chicken, biscuits, and anything accidentally dropped in the kitchen.

Orion would follow us from room to room, quietly settling wherever we were, just so he could be close.

He always seemed to know when food was around. No matter how quietly a packet was opened, Orion would appear within seconds, looking as innocent as possible.

Orion had the kindest heart. He made the house feel warmer, calmer and happier. He gave comfort without needing words, and his love was constant.
