Their story

More than a name and a date.

Gareth Lloyd was born in Wrexham and carried Wrexham with him throughout his life. Gareth was proud of where he came from, proud of his family, and proud to support Wrexham FC through every high, low, hopeful season and unforgettable matchday.

Football was never just a game to Gareth. It was routine, conversation, friendship and memory. He loved the sound of the crowd, the familiar walk to the ground, the colours, the songs, and the feeling of belonging that came with supporting Wrexham FC.

Away from football, Gareth was known for kindness, humour and loyalty. He had a way of making ordinary days feel warmer, and his family will always remember the stories, the laughter and the steady love he gave so freely.
