Their story

More than a name and a date.

Susan Hardy was born in West Bridgford and carried Nottingham with her throughout her life. Susan was proud of where she came from, proud of her family, and proud to support Nottingham Forest FC through every high, low, hopeful season and unforgettable matchday.

Football was never just a game to Susan. It was routine, conversation, friendship and memory. She loved the sound of the crowd, the familiar walk to the ground, the colours, the songs, and the feeling of belonging that came with supporting Nottingham Forest FC.

Away from football, Susan was known for kindness, humour and loyalty. She had a way of making ordinary days feel warmer, and her family will always remember the stories, the laughter and the steady love she gave so freely.
