Their story

More than a name and a date.

George Baxter was born in Walton and carried Liverpool with him throughout his life. George was proud of where he came from, proud of his family, and proud to support Everton FC through every high, low, hopeful season and unforgettable matchday.

Football was never just a game to George. It was routine, conversation, friendship and memory. He loved the sound of the crowd, the familiar walk to the ground, the colours, the songs, and the feeling of belonging that came with supporting Everton FC.

Away from football, George was known for kindness, humour and loyalty. He had a way of making ordinary days feel warmer, and his family will always remember the stories, the laughter and the steady love he gave so freely.
