Family was at the centre of Alan’s life. He took pride in the people he loved and found joy in the simple things — a Sunday dinner, a familiar song, a walk in the fresh air, a good laugh, and time spent with those closest to him.

He will be remembered for his warmth, his humour and his ability to make people smile even on difficult days. His words, his stories and his presence will continue to live on through the people who loved him.
