A loving reflection of who they were, the life they lived, and the memories they leave behind.

Born in Houghton to Billy and Jean Brown in 1954 on November 1st which she always reminded us was all saints day , She had a happy childhood growing up with her Sister Janet and was close to her Grandparents, She always spoke fondly of her time in Edwin street, She went to Houghton Grammar school which she liked to mention by saying I wasnt daft I wore green knickers ( in reference to their uniform) . She then Started working as a receptionist aged 16 in the doctors surgery we now know as kepier medical practice which was originally where power tattoos is now. She worked in a few different buildings over the years and stayed till she retired in her early 60's making lots of close and special friends along the way. She met Alan when they where teenagers and married at Houghton church after 5 years of Courting. They lived with Grandparents and at Herrington before settling at Grasswell where Alan still lives to this day. In 1984 Alan william came along followed by Emma in 1987 . Her and Alan brought their 2 children up through the miners strike and other hard times but made sure there was still plenty of trips and holidays ,Giving their children a great upbringing and laying the foundations of a happy and fulfilling life for their children whi will always remember the sacrifices made by them. She loved her family more than anything but not far behind was her love of music, bitten by the beatles bug at a youn age she grew to love the Rolling stones , a passion shared by Alan . Acdc, Free, Tom Petty, Prince amd Rod stewart where amongst other Favourites. She was the most selfless and patient person in the world and always made sure her family was looked after before her self. Her Christmas dinners and ham and egg pies are family Legend . A Clever , witty Woman who enjoyed a pint and the odd whisky or Belgian coke. A Love of the colour red and disney .
